Hindu yatrees visiting Love Samadhi blame Modi govt for wrongly portraying Pakistan

Lahore:  Indian Hindu pilgrims who had been on a visit to Pakistan to participate in the religious rituals at the historic Katas Raj Temple near Chakwal, Punjab, blamed Indian media for wrongly portraying Pakistan saying the reality was quite opposite to what the Indian media shows them about their neighbor.

The yatrees stated this during their visit to Love Samadhi which has great religious and historical significance in Hinduism in Lahore. The visit to the Love Samadhi was organised by Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Pakistan. Later, a ceremony was organissed at the historic Lahore Fort by Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation (SGRHF) for the visiting delegation of yatrees. Director SGRHF Syed Shaheen Hassan welcomed the yatrees.

Earlier, the yatrees participated in rituals at historic Katas Raj Temple near Chakwal.

Speaking on the occasion, group leader of Indian Hindu yatrees Sanjiv Kumar and Rakesh Arora thanked Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation and ETPB for organising the event and for hosting their yatra.

All the yatrees said that during this yatra the Pakistani people, government representatives and the institutions took great care of them. They said that they will never forget this love and affection. The reality is quite opposite of what the Indian media shows us about Pakistan. Pakistan is a land of peace and love. They also thanked Pakistan government, which made excellent arrangements for transportation, accommodation and medical care of the Hindu pilgrims. In the end, Saropas were distributed among the yatrees by SGRHF and ETPB. Web Desk
