Itanagar: Indian paramilitary force killed three rebels of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN- Khaplang) in Indian state Arunachal Pradesh.
The rebels belonging to NSCN (K)’s Yung Aung faction were killed during an operation launched by paramilitary Assam Rifles (AR) and police personnel in Khogla of Longding district of the state, senior officials said.
The Assam Rifles (AR) and the Longding police launched joint raids at various places, including Khogla village in Wakka circle of the district and killed three members of the NSCN (K) Yung Aung faction on spot, said Superintendent of Police V H Meena. National Socialist Council of Nagaland is demanding azaadi and an independent state.
National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) and all parties associated with it have been banned by the Indian government under black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Web Desk
