Indian judiciary in its judgment handed over the land of Babri mosque to Hindus for raising Ram Mandir in its place. And no one was punished for demolition of mosque.
Emboldened Sangh Parivar hardliners accelerated their hate campaign mainly targeting Muslim population. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections Sangh Parivar activists motivated voters on Hindu faith lines and for others (non-Hindu voters) they created coercive circumstances to fall in line.
Victorious BJP elevated Narendra Modi as prime minister of country. Under his reign from 2014 till to date the dangerous curve of Hindu hyper-nationalism did not flatten.
Critics are branded anti-national. Self-appointed Hindu vigilantes lynch Muslim men on mere suspicions beef eating. Mass conversion of marginalized poor communities by offering them BPL (Below Poverty Line) cards as a temptation has been started.
Islamic figures and Muslim era names of cities, roundabouts, bazaars, and institutes have been replaced with those from Hindu derivations. Sangh Parivar wields the carte blanche to decide how to obliterate Muslim era rule of India from the history books.
Modi’s electoral slogan: ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas OR ‘shining India’ has vanished for good. It is now ‘Hindi, Hindu, Hindustan’ slogan being promoted by the RSS pracharaks. Sadhus, Gurus and pracharaks calling the shots in India now.
“Those not voted for Modi should go to Pakistan.” BJP candidate Giriraj Singh from Bihar told a rally in Godda [Jharkhand] during election campaign 2014.
“The party [BJP] will bring machines from China to shave 10-12 thousand Muslims and later force them to adopt Hindu religion.” Ranjeet Bahadur Srivastava of BJP spewed his vitriol against Muslims in Apr 2019.
