Fascist Modi govt should ban RSS for promoting hatred, communal riots: Popular Front of India

Lucknow: Popular Front of India, PFI General Secretary Anis Ahmed said that why a ban has not been imposed on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), alleging that their “name comes in all riots”.

Blaming RSS for communal violence, PFI’s Anis Ahmed said that RSS’ modus operandi has been the same for years where they come to Muslim areas and provoke them.

He further stated that BJP-RSS nexus have started a concerted campaign to ban emerging PFI; the only vocal organization of Muslims and minorities by implicating it in each and every untoward incident. RSS started an anti-PFI discourse by labeling it as anti-national/ anti-India, disrupter of peace and communal harmony. PFI was raised with the purpose for Muslim empowerment, PFI’s endeavours to keep the issues of vulnerable societies (Women, labours, famers, Dalits, Adivasi) at the forefront.

Focused areas of PFI are; educational empowerment and community development, legal defence and protection of civil rights, confronting communal fascism, calamity relief, broad based alliance, health and hygiene. PFI presents itself patriotic shows allegiance to Indian constitution. It condemns foreign attacks on Indian soil, i.e, India- China skirmishes in Ladakh. Real reason of orchestrating a campaign to ban PFI is its enemity with RSS.

In 2015, PFI declared ‘Hindutva fascism’ as biggest challenge facing India. RSS is the cause of all the evils happening in Indian to convert the country into Hindu Rashtra. It is a dubious organization perpetuating Hindutva agenda.  Various investing agencies and Police of several states have exposed their deeds. In the past, RSS has been banned several times for its involvement in terror incidents and for support dreaded terrorists like Murder of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, RSS activist’s widespread atrocities in East Pakistan (1971) to put brunt on Pakistan Army, Nellie Massacre Assam (1983), Babri Mosque demolition (1992), Gujarat Riots (2002), Samjhauta Express Bombing (2007), Malegaon Blasts (2008). Details of recent event having foot prints of RSS and its allied organizations are:- Delhi Riots (2020), Dharma Sansads, Jhangirpuri Riots (2022), Khargone Violence in MP (2022), Gandhinagar Violence Gujarat (2022), Gyanvapi Mosque Row, Qutab Minar Issue, Hijab Ban, Hilal Meat Issue etc.

Opposition parties including Congress, APP, TMC also condemned targeting of PFI by RSS backed BJP. RJD President (Bihar) condemned labelling of PFI as anti-national; claimed that most of arrested agents by security agencies in the wake of busting of Bihar terror module are RSS members of Hindus. Rising Hindu nationalism, growing marginalization of Muslims, high handedness against other minorities under Modi’s ethnically democratic government and repeated violation of Human Rights are fueling the expansion of PFI’s popularity in South. In reality, PFI is a responsible and charitable organization as compared to extremist, fascist Hindu outfit RSS that only propagates Hindutva, hatred and communal disharmony for its survival and existence.
