Hindutva goons smash Bahadur Shah Zafar’s portrait in Maharashtra

Kolhapur: The Hindutva goons have smashed the portrait of last Muslim Ruler of India, Bahadur Shah Zafar in Indian state of Maharashtra.

The portrait of the last Mughal Emperor was hung on the wall at a famous restaurant ‘Biryani By Kilo’ in Kolhapur city of the state.

The Hindutva extremists tore down and smashed the portrait of Bahadur Shah Zafar who was successor of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, labeling anti-national.

Out of anti-Muslim hatred, the Hindutva goons are targeting Muslims mostly in the states where BJP-RSS nexus is in rule.

Bahadur Shah Zafar was the 20th and the last Mughal emperor of India. He died at age 87 in 1862 in Rangoon lamenting that he could not get even two yards of land in his own homeland for his burial.
