Islamabad: A false propaganda being disseminated by the Indian media, claiming that Pakistan had denied airspace to India’s C-17 plane carrying relief aid for earthquake-hit Turkiye, has backfired after Indian Air Force (IAF) issued a clarification.
Factual Position is: Indian Air Force exposes
Pakistan did not receive any formal request from Indian government for use of its airspace. Indian Air Force has issued a clarification that as per standard operating procedure, its aircraft have avoided flying over Pakistan.

Pertinent to mention that India had already been delivering aid to Afghanistan government then led by Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani using Iranian air space. India should use the same route as used in case of delivering aid to Afghanistan. Nonetheless India can use civil aviation aircraft to take aid and related paraphernalia to Turkiye.
