Maharashtra Congress tweeter account endorses Pakistan’s stance on Indian Administered Kashmir & Siachen

New Delhi: Maharashtra Congress twitter account has stated that Indian Administered Kashmir and Siachen were not part of Indian Territory at time of Independence (1947).

It is public knowledge that Mr Nehru was not interested to annex Indian Administered Kashmir. Nehru in his first broadcast said that “The fate of Kashmir is ultimately to be decided by Kashmiris. We will not and cannot back out of it.”

On October 25, 1947, in telegrams addressed to Pakistan and British prime ministers, Nehru said: “I should like to make it clear that the question of aiding Kashmir in this emergency is not designed in any way to influence the State to accede to India. In August of 1947, the Maharaja entered into a Standstill Agreement with Pakistan.’

This agreement transferred responsibility for administering certain services in Indian Administered Kashmir such as the post, telegraph and railways from India to Pakistan.’ Mehr Chand Mahajan in his book, ‘Looking Back’ has made a fascinating revelation that Indian troops were already there before the IOA was signed – which clearly shows how the entire signing of this instrument was managed. t is pertinent to mention here that recently Mr Shiromani Akali Dal President Simranjit Singh Mann and member Indian Parliament (MP) has also issued strong worded remarks on Indian government’s farce claims on Indian Administered Kashmir dispute completely destroying the integral mantra being propagated by India. Mr Shiromani further said that “Indian Administered Kashmir is not a part of India; it is still a separate state where plebiscite is still to be held and where demand for plebiscite still stands”. Prior to this, the CBSE’s published Class 10 French textbook cover that vividly shows Indian map displaying Indian Administered Kashmir as disputed territory between Pakistan and India rather integral part of India. The above stated historical facts clearly indicate the reality of India Indian illegal claims being an afterthought of deceitful Hindu mentality.

The argument is substantiated by various statements of present Indian leadership. India Times had done a story that how Indian Forces stealthily carried out illegal occupation of Pakistani territory in Siachen, in fact Kashmir and Siachen are victim of Indian colonial and expansionist designs.
