New Delhi: A Hindu man assaulted a 10-year-old Muslim boy in Khandwa city of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh for not chanting Hindu slogan.
The Hindu man Ajay alias Raju Bhil stopped the Class 5 student, who was on his way to his tuition classes, and forced him to chant the Hindu slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’. He slapped the boy on his cheeks when he did not raise the slogan.
Reports said, the police have booked Ajay under various sections of Indian Penal Code for assaulting the minor boy. India: Muslim boy assaulted
Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Khandwa, Anil Chauhan, said that the Pandhana police station received a complaint where a 10-year-old child’s father stated that when the child was going to tuition, Ajay alias Raju Bhil stopped him on the way and made him to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
