NIA launches raids in Muslim community areas in 3 Indian states

New Delhi: The India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched raids and searches in Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, today, in connection with two cases of blasts in Coimbatore and Mangaluru.

The dreaded NIA along with Indian police personnel raided and searched at least forty (40) places, mostly the houses and offices of the Muslim community to harass them.

The searches were claimed in name of connection with the last year Coimbatore car bomb blast and eight linked to the Mangaluru blast.

One of the cases relates to a bomb blast in a car laden with explosives in front of Kottai Eswaran Temple in Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu on October 23 last year and a pressure cooker bomb blast that took place in a moving auto-rickshaw in Mangaluru City in Karnataka on November 19, 2022.

The notorious agency during house raids seized a large number of Aadhar cards, SIM, mobile phones, digital devices and Rs 4 lakh in cash.

Pertinently, the continued harassment and terrorism on minorities, mostly on Muslims, Dalits and Christians, by the Indian Hindutva BJP government is common in India to treat them as second class citizens.
