SFJ slams Indian state sponsored attacks on Gurdwaras in Afghanistan

Kabul:  Hundreds of Afghan Sikhs left Kabul after attack on gurdwara in Afghanistan.

Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) while condemning the terrorist attack on Kabul Gurdwara, Afghanistan, said that in India since 1955, attacks on Sikh Gurdwaras had always been Indian “state sponsored”

SFJ leader said that to highlight persecution of minorities committed in India at the behest of RSS backed government. On 18 June 2022, ISKP miscreant which has deep-rooted links with Indian RAW attacked Sikh Gurdwara at Bagh-e-Bala Kabul, resulting in casualties of few Sikh Community members.

Said incident created a sense of fear and insecurity among the Sikh community members; residing in Afghanistan. Sikh community out efforts at all levels to leave Afghanistan, for further proceeding to a safer country for them such as India, but could not succeed initially.

It is pertinent to mention that religious persecution in India under Modi is currently at an all-time high where Sikhs, Muslims and other minorities continue to be harassed, hounded, humiliated and killed. Inhuman treatment meted out to Sikh farmers in India has stripped off so-called secular mask from India’s face. Indian RAW is targeting & eliminating Sikhs around the globe.

Last few months have witnessed arrest of key Sikh leadership including Navjot Singh Sidhu, target killings of Sikh stars and proponent of farmer’s movement including recent killing of Sidhu Moosewala.

Sikh political leaders detained in Indian jails continue to suffer even after serving their prison terms. RSS-backed fascist Indian government is on a mission to purge India of its minorities and their persecution and vilification at the hands of Hindutva forces has exposed the real face of India’s so-called secular democracy before the world. Sikh community is unsafe in India and its Sikh diaspora should think before proceeding to India, unless Khalistan state is created.
