UK MP Naz Shah thanked for her continued support to Kashmir cause

Bradford: A delegation of Kashmiri representatives has thanked the British Member of Parliament (MP) and Shadow Minister, Naz Shah, for her continued support to the Kashmir cause.

The delegation comprising Professor Taqdees Gillani, Member of AJK Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Focal Person for Kohala Power Project; Raja Najabat Hussain, Sitara-e-Pakistan and founder Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Self-determination Movement International (JKSDMI); Sardar Abdur Rahman Khan, patron JKSDMI; Sabiya Khan, Councillor and Chairperson British Muslim Women’s Forum UK; and Kaneez Akhtar, former Councillor held a meeting with Naz Shah MP in her office at Bradford.

During the meeting they discussed the Kashmir dispute, women’s rights in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as well as the matters related to women empowerment and development in Azad Kashmir.

It was decided to hold an All Parties Kashmir Conference to launch the International Women’s Week by JKSDMI from the House of Commons, London, on 1st March with the support of Naz Shah MP and Co-Chair of All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims. Professor Taqdees Gillani along with other dignitaries and Parliamentarians will be participating in that Conference.

Raja Najabat Hussain informed Naz Shah MP that team of JKSDMI will be holding several activities from 1st March till 11th March in different cities of the UK with the support of other organisations and Councillors from all political parties. He thanked Naz Shah MP for her continued support to the Kashmir cause and team of JKSDMI.
