Uttar Pradesh: An 18-year-old nurse was found hanging from a pillar of a nursing home in Indian state Uttar Pradesh during night shift on the first day of her job.
Body of the nurse was found hanging at New Jeevan Nursing Home in the Bangarmau area of the Unnao district, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sashi Shekhar Singh told media men.
The nurse was on night shift on the first day of her job and her family said that she was raped and killed.
In a complaint filed with the police, the mother of the victim has said that her daughter was raped and killed. The mother also added that the managers of the nursing home were behind the incident.
On the other hand, a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted when a man, who visited her house in the guise of a sadhu to seek alms in Khunti district of Indian state Jharkhand, police said.
The three men, dressed as sadhus, visited the house of the girl to seek alms. One of them went inside the house to drink water, while the other two were talking to the girl’s parents outside, police said.
Suddenly, the girl ran out of the house screaming, they said. All the three men tried to flee, but villagers caught them and handed them over to the police.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old woman was raped by five men, who also recorded the act and made the video viral, police said. The woman, in her complaint, said that on April 22, five men dragged her into a hut outside her house and took turns to rape her in Madanapur in Shahjahanpur, area of Utter Pradesh.
The accused, she added, also filmed the act and made the video viral a week after the incident. Daily Siasat
