Srinagar: In yet another incident of blasphemy and desecration of religious sanctity, goons of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) broke into an imambargah in Balhama area of Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and conducted a Hindutva event there.
Later, when the BJP goons tried to enter Jamia Masjid, Balhama, the local Muslims protested against them and forced them to leave the mosque.
Earlier, Hindutva-inspired Indian soldiers entered two mosques in Pulwama last Saturday and forced the worshippers to chant the same Hindu slogans.
All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders Khadim Hussain and Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi in their joint statement in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the growing anti-Islamic and anti-Kashmir activities of the BJP operatives in Balhama area of Srinagar.
They deplored that the BJP operatives had started vandalizing imambargahs and other holy places in the area which was highly condemnable. They said these elements raised Jai Shri Ram slogans in the imambargah of Balhama and violated its sanctity.
They said these elements are pushing Modi’s anti-Kashmir and anti-Muslim agenda, but they should remember that the brave Kashmiri Muslims would foil their nefarious designs.
