Cargo ship stuck in Suez Canal operated by Indian crew

Cairo: The ship stuck in Suez Canal, Ever Given, was used by the Taiwan-based company Evergreen Marine. It is important to note that all 25 ship crew members were Indians. On 18th March the ship lodged sideways blocking the traffic across Suez Canal. It was a disaster for the businesses. Therefore, it is necessary to display and expose the havoc that Indian crew played with trades by displaying negligence which has cost billions to several businesses.

·         India crew members were solely responsible for the accident and displayed negligence which has cost millions of dollars to several businesses.

·         The professionalism of Indian crew is questionable.

·         Since most of the Chinese and Asian goods reach Europe through same route there could be an Indian attempt to disrupt supplies.

·         Around 400 cardo ships were jammed at both ends of Suez Canal.

·         Countries most affected by the blockage were China, Egypt and the international trade.
