Criticism mounts against British home secretary for targeting British Pakistanis

London: British Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, has faced criticism for targeting British Pakistanis, causing a loss of strong support.

Tory Minister Steve Baker, while withdrawing his support for the Home Secretary, stated that her tough stance could hinder his chances of becoming a Tory leader.

He mentioned that within her constituency, white British individuals are involved in similar crimes, but why hasn’t the Home Secretary targeted them with harsh criticism? It seems that only British Pakistanis have become the target of criticism.

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi has also demanded Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to express his disassociation from the statements made by the Home Secretary.

The British Home Secretary had faced severe criticism for targeting British Pakistanis in relation to the “child grooming gang” crimes.
