Meanwhile, the state government’s denial in the Assembly a day before of no death in the state due to the lack of oxygen has left families of eight Covid patients and local residents fuming. Contrary to the claim, eight patients had died at Kirti Hospital, Gurugram, after it ran out of oxygen.

“We don’t want to go through that trauma again. We submitted videos, gave statements to all, but no action was taken. The hospital flourishes and staff walks free. We are trying to bring family to terms with the tragedy that still haunts us, “said brother of a victim. It was in May that 8 people died after hospital ran out of oxygen. It was alleged that relatives of the dead assaulted doctors and hospital staff hid for their safety, but relatives alleged that they had run away, leaving behind the patients. A video had gone viral, showing the police coming and arranging emergency help as hospital staff was missing. Web Desk
