Indian army Lt Col dies in accident in Occupied Kashmir

Srinagar: An Indian Army officer died in a road accident in Udhampur district of Jammu region in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The Indian army’s Lt. Col. K Siddarth Narayan was killed after his Jeep fell into a deep gorge near Darsu on Dhar Road near Udhampur. He was presently deployed at Headquarters Chief Engineer, Air Force Station Udhampur.

An Indian Defence spokesman said that officer was on way from Chandigarh to Udhampur on Sunday. He went missing during same night. On Monday, his unit personnel started searching for him and his vehicle was traced lying in a deep gorge near Darsu on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man died after being hit by a scooty in Darpora area of Lolab in Kupwara district, today.
