Indian Army tried to hide 6 dead bodies of slain labourers, Nagaland govt confirms

Kohima: It has been confirmed that Indian army had tried to hide six out of 15 dead bodies of civilians by wrapping and loading them in another truck and covering with tarpaulin. At least 15 civilians were gunned down by Indian Army in Nagaland’s Mon district on Sunday.

The commissioner of the Indian state in an official statement confirmed that security forces tried to hide the 6 dead bodies by wrapping, loading them in another truck & covering with tarpaulin.

A report filed by Nagaland commissioner Rovilatuo Mor and state director general of police T. John Longkumer after speaking to eyewitnesses and local residents on December 5 said, “The Special Forces personnel tried to hide the dead bodies of the six villagers by wrapping and loading them in another pickup truck (Tata Mobile), apparently with the intention of taking the dead bodies to their base camp.”
