Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) amid ongoing raids on political and social activists by the India’s Hindutva regime, New Delhi has announced to seal 100 more educational institutions and properties belonging to the Jamaat-e-Islami.
Indian Home Ministry and its State Investigation Agency (SIA) headed by RSS-BJP stalwart RR Swain continued raids on pro-freedom parties. India is using new tactics to grab the properties of Muslims religious organization to stifle the voices of Muslims and deprive them from their basic right of education.
In an unprovoked move, Indian law enforcement agencies have started a crackdown against the religious organization of Indian Administered Kashmir. After freezing JI bank accounts, the SIA has started the seizure of its properties including land, school, houses and office. India’s Special Investigation Team (SIA) has already sealed Jama’at-e-Islami’s properties identified at nine locations in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir worth Rs 2.58 crore.
Now 100 more properties belonging to the Jamaat across Jammu and Kashmir has been included in the list of the Indian Home Ministry for seizure. This step was taken just to erase Muslims identity Indian Administered Kashmir.
For this purpose, various steps have been taken by Indian government. The Hindutva regime led by Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah had been blaming the Muslim organization for supporting the demon of right to self-determination.
The Kashmiri leadership has continuously been pointing out that BJP was taking into possession all religiously and politically significant places and positions in the Kashmir valley to efface its Muslim identity.
Since August 5, 2019 when fascist Modi-regime snatched special status of the state, it issued domicile certificates to millions of non-Kashmiris, changed land laws to enable outsiders purchase properties in Kashmir, redrew political constituencies in favour of Hindus and also gave voting rights to over 2.5 million non-Kashmiris.
This all is being practiced to change the demography of Kashmir. The ban on Muslims schools is a clear violation of the fundamental right of education that would damage the education system of Indian Administered Kashmir.
Despite being condemned and criticized for grave violations of human rights by UNHRC, Amnesty International and other HR organizations India has displayed utter disregard for its obligations to international norms and bindings.
