Agra: Dramatic scenes were witnessed at the Aligarh Muslim University Campus after a clash broke out between two groups.
According to the details, Kashmiri students are stigmatized by RSS affiliated student organizations by calling them, “terrorists” at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Kashmiri students are being given “step-motherly treatment” on the campus. AMU students often witness Kashmiri students being chased by RSS’s goons holding guns and sticks.
Kashmiri students have repeatedly submitted formal complaints with the AMU Proctor. As per the students, the Proctor has denied the involvement of armed goons. Kashmiri students attacked by RSS
A willful inaction of the Proctorial team brought AMU to the lowest of low and seriously jeopardized the life of Kashmiri students. The fact that attacks on Kashmiri students are increasing, the same is being ignored despite repeated pleas for immediate intervention clearly indicate BJP/ RSS vindictive attitude towards Kashmiris. The indifferent and discriminative attitude of the authorities have left the students high and dry.
A time bound enquiry should be conducted so as to ascertain the facts & circumstances. AMU Kashmiri students are of the opinion that Indian government has resorted to collective punishment strategy for innocent Kashmiris across India to subdue their just and peaceful demand of independence.
