Srinagar: The Modi-led fascist Indian regime has intensified crackdown to seize properties of the Kashmiris to muzzle their voice for freedom.
India in its latest wave of confiscations has seized properties worth crores of Jamaat-e-Islami and other pro-freedom Kashmiris.
Nearly 250 assets of pro-freedom people and Jamaat-e-Islami in the occupied territory are under the radar. After freezing JI bank accounts, the SIA has started the seizure of its properties including lands, schools, houses and offices.
India’s Special Investigation Team (SIA) has already sealed Jama’at-e-Islami’s properties identified at nine locations in Shopian district of Indian Administered Kashmir worth Rs2. 58 crore.
The occupation authorities are of the opinion that seizure of the property will serve as a major deterrent for the Kashmiris to abandon the cause of freedom.
Since the 5th August 2019, the Indian Administered Kashmir authorities have seized a number of assets belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami and other pro-freedom Kashmiris to break their resolve. But such moves have failed to deter the Kashmiris from pursuing their internationally recognized right to self-determination.
