People in UK will observe Hijab Day on February 25

London: People in the United Kingdom will observe February 25, as ‘Hijab Day’ in protest against India continuing its anti-Islam and pro-fascism policies in the country and occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Fahim Kayani, president, Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, addressing a press conference in London said that on coming Friday, “people in the UK will observe Hijab Day.”

“We have requested Imams of mosques to discuss protection of women rights and importance of Hijab during their Friday sermons,” he said.

Others who were present in the press conference included Allama Syed Zafar Ullah Shah, Mufti Fazal Ahmed Qadari, Mulana Tariq Masood, Mufti Abdul Majeed Nadeem, Khawajah Muhammad Suleman and Chaudhry Ikramul Haq.

They on the occasion condemned the acts which are perpetrated by Hindutva regime in India. Web Desk
