RSS goons attack Nigerian students in India

Haryana: Around 60 Nigerian students who were studying in GD Goenka University have fled their campus after they were allegedly beaten and abused on the football field and in their hostel by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) goons.

According to the details, BJP regime under its Hindutva ideology is posing threat not only to minorities in India but also foreigners especially African (Nigerian) Students in India.

Penetration of RSS ideologues in Indian varsities is clear manifestation of its exclusionary hate narrative against other communities.

Multiple cases have been reported in India, wherein, international students particularly Students from African countries are facing discrimination, isolation and racism.

The issue came to prominence in 2015, when a South Studanese student asked Rajnath (Union minister at that time) about ill-treatment being met out to him in his College. The alienation of foreign students has become a norm in India since 2015 and has seen an upsurge recently. Most of the students have been targeted on stereotyping them being Muslims and black, hence, subjecting them to unfair treatment.

Recently, manhandling of Nigerian student of Gurgaon University by Hindu students (mob) occurred on 16 Oct 2022 on the issue of their inclusion in football team which was fiercely opposed by radical Hindu outfit operating in the garb of students.

The students were badly beaten by hate driven Hindu mob and had to flee to Nigerian Embassy to save their lifes. Sensing the severity of the case, Embassy of Nigeria requested for registering the case in police against the perpetrators.

The issue has deep roots and generated form the case of extremist Hindu students objecting prayers of Nigerian students in the university premises. There are huge number of students aspiring to study in India not aware of realities behind the false edifice of Silicon Valley and shining India. Web Desk
