13 years on, victims of Samjhauta Express tragedy mourn Indian ‘travesty of justice’

Islamabad: February 18 marks the 13th anniversary of Samjhauta Express tragedy in which about 68 people including 40 Pakistanis on-board Delhi-Lahore train were burnt alive.

In a travesty of justice, an Indian court acquitted all culprits of the incident despite the availability of enough evidence.

One of the culprits trained by RSS-the extremist faction of India’s ruling party BJP,  had confessed planting bombs on-board the Samjhauta Express.

In solidarity with the families of the victims, Pakistan time and again reminds the Indian government of its responsibility to take serious and credible steps to bring the perpetrators of the incident to justice.  Radio Pakistan
