Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged that international community to play a positive role in resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with UN Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions.
He made these remarks while talking to the visiting Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Sri Lankan Army, General Shavendra Silva, who called on him, at Aiwan-e-Sadr,
President Alvi also highlighted the ongoing atrocities and human rights violations by Indian security forces in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
The President said that it was the need of the hour that the international community should come forward in a big way and play a positive role to resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with UN Security Council Resolutions. APP
